Aquest any a la Taula d’Alcaldes de la nostra comarca s’ha obert el debat de les politiques socials dirigides a les persones amb discapacitat que viuen entre nosaltres.
Persones, que conformen un del col·lectius més fràgils de la nostra societat, persones que amb aquesta situació de crisis global esdevenen un grup de gran vulnerabilitat.
Com els municipis poden afavorir polítiques actives a la comarca per donar un lloc de rellevància a aquestes persones a la nostra societat? Com afavorir l’ inserció social pel treball en un moment de destrucció de llocs de feina?
Unes preguntes molt fàcils de fer, però amb respostes incertes, complicades de portar a la pràctica, amb respostes que han de sumar esforços, de trobar lloc d’encontre i de pacte, respostes poc polititzades pels agents polítics, respostes que hem de trobar plegats.
Un gran repte, hem d’encoratjar els Alcaldes, Regidors, professionals dels Serveis Socials, a les diferents Administracions, a les famílies, als veïns, als companys... Encoratjar-los per entendre, per ser entesos, a posar en comú necessitats, carències, a ser pro actius en la recerca de solucions, en l’ implicació de la societat civil, a marcar-nos objectius locals i territorials.
En definitiva Alcaldes us encoratgem a no tirar la tovallola en intentar oferir l’ igualtat d’oportunitats per a tothom, i en aquest moment especialment a les persones amb discapacitat, treballeu fins aconseguir-lo plenament.
